Sorry, I haven't updated this sooner, have been really busy.

New Life Assembly in Lehigh Acres, FL. is 2 weeks away from their first service. There is still alot to do there,we have the Leprecon Entry Stations working and about half of the dimmers terminated. We are hanging 6 of the Altman LED Cyc Lights, I'm excited about seeing those being installed. This is going to be a really nice project, I'm really anxious about getting the sound system up and running.

Along with that project, we are doing a really nice home project in Lake Wales. NAD receiver & NAD Blu-ray player. Russound Music System and RTI Controls. This is going to be really nice when it starts to come together.

New Life Install

New Life install in Lehigh Acres, FL. is going well. The crew installed the Amp Racks and Dimmer Rack last week, pulled drive lines, the 58 pair Audio Snake, and the audio floor pocket wires on stage. We still have alot to do.

We have (2) Middle Atlantic SR40-32 Wall Mount-Racks for New Life Assembly in Lehigh Acres, FL. We have 13 Crown Amplifiers and an Ashly 24.24 Processor. Here are some pics of them being assembled and wired.

InfoComm 2009 was last week in Orlando. Now that NSCA & InfoComm have merged the show is just way too big, I felt like I walked forever and didn't see anything. Anyway, here are some of the things that I saw and my reviews:

The Renkus-Heinz Demo was, as always, one of the best of the show. I know the guys doing it get sick of hearing the same songs over and over, but it helps us, as contractors, hear the differences between each speaker.

The IC Live was by far one the best speakers at the show, the sound quality and performance was amazing. I heard one person say " A studio monitor sound in a portable cabinent."

This is the Middle Atlantic rack-mount ISO Transformer. It does 4 individual 20 amp circuits. This is going to come in handy.

JBL just came out with several new products:

Several new subwoofers in the AE line, good job Jon Sager!!

A new Column Line Array CBT700, it is one of the new 4 cabinents. It has a low frequency module the goes with it as well. The specs look good, I can't wait to hear it.

Electrovoice's new series of speakers sounded good, although I was not happy with the demo. They kept playing different songs on different speakers, and on the EVF 15" series they didn't play a vocal on the cabinent (at least in the demo I was in) which is the most important thing that you need to hear on a 2-way 15" box.

I sat through QSC's new DSP walk-thru, I really liked the software and how it onefunctioned, there were some really neat features, and it sounded really good. However, I don't think that it will be a viable DSP option for us. There are three units to buy instead of just one, 1 Main DSP unit and I/O Units.

ZeeVee has a neat unit that turns a component or VGA signal into a HD cable channel, that is going to come in handy for some digital signage applications or church video distribution.

Digital Projection, as usual, had some amazing looking projectors. Especially the Home Theater 3D projector, which was awesome.

SurgeX had a great booth and demonstration of it's surge technology, all they need now is a switch with a light to get our business.

There was so much to see, I know I am probably forgetting some things, so I will quit for now and add some more things later.

We have several projects going on right now.

The closest to being done is St. John the Divine Episcopal Church in Ruskin, FL, we have EV FRX+ Main Speaker and EV FRI2082 Side Delays, Peavey Digitool, EV Amplifiers, Allen & Heath 16 Channel Mixer, Shure ULX Wireless Mics, Leprecon Dimming and Control, ETC Fixtures, Sanyo Projectors, Draper Screens, Extron Switching and Vaddio Camera System. This project is scheduled to be complete in July 2009.

New Life Assembly of God in Lehigh Acres, FL, is under construstion. We have 12 JBL VRX932LA's main speakers, 3 JBL VRX918S subwoofers, 2 JBL ASB6128V dual 18" subwoofers, Ashly Processing, Crown Amplifiers, ACE Backstage Floor Pockets, Aviom System, Shure ULX & UHF-R Wireless Systems, and Leprecon Dimming and Control. This project is scheduled to be complete in September 2009.

Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Salisbury, NC, is under construction. We have 2 Renkus-Heinz IC24R Line Array Speaker, 2 Renkus Heinz PN112R powered subwoofers, 1 Renkus-Heinz PN81R Balsony Delay, 1 PN115R Music Speaker, Mystery Floor Pockets, Yamaha LS9-32 Digital Mixer. This is our First Cobranet controlled system, where the control and audio is on Cat5 wire to each speaker. This project is scheduled to be complete in December 2009.
